Heat Treated Pallets

Does your company ship products internationally?  If so, your pallets will need to carry an official IPCC heat treatment stamp.  IPCC stands for International Plant Protection Convention.  The IPCC is made up of 180 members and it requires its member countries to heat treat all wood packaging materials that are shipped internationally, to help prevent the spread of bugs and pests.  Their International Standards for Phytosanitary Measure No. 15 (ISPM-15) specifies proper heat treating procedures.  L&L Pallets is inspected monthly by American Wood Inspection Services to document and ensure our compliance with these procedures.  As a result we have our own company specific stamp that we can apply to all heat treated pallets we produce for our customers.
